Na chini sitaki kuweka

Vijana kwa nini hampiti ?
Kwa nini mwanicheka kisogo ?
Mzigo niliobeba haupo.

Lakini umenipinda ngongo na
Nendako
Haya piteni ! Piteni haraka ! Heei !

Mwafikiri mwaniacha nyuma !
Njia ya maisha ni moja tu.
Huko mwendako ndiko nilikotoka
Na nilipofikia wengi wenu
Hawatafika.

Kula nimekula na sasa mwasema

Mizimu wakupa kweli, Wakueleze undani.

(e) Fafanua kwa mukhtasari maudhui ya mashairi yote mawili                                                       
(f) Andika ubeti wa mwisho wa shairi la A katika lugha nathari                                                     
(g) Taja na uonyeshe jinsi idhini ya ushairi ilivyotumika katika shairi la A

13.                   Soma shairi na kisha uyajibu maswali yafuatayo:-
CHEMA HAKIDUMU
Chema hakidumu, kingapendekeza,
Saa ikitimu, kitakuteleza,
Ukawa na hamu, kukingojeleza,
Huwa ni vigumu, kamwe hutaweza.

Chema sikiimbi, kwamba nakitweza,
Japo mara tumbi, kinshaniliza,
Na japo siombi, kipate n’ongeza,
Mtu haniambi, pa kujilimbikiza.

Chema mara ngapi, kinaniondoka,
Mwahanga yu wapi? Hakukaa mwaka,

Ningefanya lipi, ela kumzika?

Chema wangu babu, kibwana Bashee,
Alojipa tabu, kwamba anilee,

Hadi siku hini, Yu moyoni mwangu,

Unalegeza watoto
Kwa mazoea yako tenganishi
